I THRIVE is a space for employees to share and connect

Our County’s most valuable resource is our employees. Over the past two years, County employees have faced so many challenges, and they have risen to the occasion time and time again. From responding to the COVID-19 pandemic to emergencies related to hurricanes to the tragic Surfside building collapse to the challenges our workforce faces daily, our employees get the job done and thrive.

Building on Mayor Daniella Levine Cava’s powerful Thrive305 civic engagement initiative, the Human Resources (HR) Department developed the I THRIVE @ Miami-Dade County employee engagement initiative in October 2021. I THRIVE highlights employee experiences that include our employees’ great work and the leadership that guides our community.

An online I THRIVE submittal form is available for employees to send their stories and photos. Stories can also be emailed to [email protected]. Additionally, HR works with public information officers, departmental personnel representatives, HR managers and others to collect stories and memorable mentions to share on I THRIVE.

The goal is to celebrate, engage and motivate our workforce to continue to serve our community with the appreciation they deserve. As the logo indicates, our Human Resources are our most valuable resources.
