  1. Avenger:
Looks to be a well-outfitted all-around near-shore trailerable fishing boat. If I ever trade-in my SW Lake Michigan life I'd take a hard look at that type of boat (I don't know the quality of an Avenger or others that are similar). I like the utility/size of that flybridge but no idea how useful it is for what little I know about sight-fishing and if I'd be willing to pay the extra for a complete 2nd helm instead of using an autopilot with remote station/control. Then again, I have no idea how much she drafts, how skinny of water she'll run- and sit/float- in.

    Axopar:
Seem to make a lot of sense. Iirc they're pricey but seemed justifiable from a seaworthy design, construction, and fit-out standpoint. I'm not sure that I'd be willing to give up the cabin space "just" so that I can walk around the house (its hard for me to call that a console) on the same level as the cockpit.

That USCG RIB is in the upper 30' range, no??

  2. You can tell who don't know about the ocean, by the boat they pic, and by how they drive.A Trum supporter behind the wheel of anything is dangerous!!Regal, and the Big Bayliner handled really sheddy

  3. The smaller boats that stuff it into a wave and fill half up with water, how do they recover? How do they get rid of that water? If they stuff it hard enough, the boat will just sink?
