City of West Palm Beach Reminds Residents: Daylight Saving Time Ends Soon

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The City of West Palm Beach reminds residents that Daylight Saving Time (DST) ends on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Clocks will be set back one hour at 2 a.m., transitioning from Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) to Eastern Standard Time (EST).

City officials encourage residents to adjust their clocks and use the extra hour for safety and preparedness:

  1. Check smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
  2. Review and replenish emergency kits.
  3. Inspect home security and heating systems.
  4. Enjoy outdoor activities before darkness falls earlier
