City of West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County to Co-host ‘Breaking the Silence’ Event
A Conversation on Overcoming HIV Stigma

WHAT: Members of the public are invited to attend a FREE event, “Breaking the Silence.” Special guest Hydeia Broadbent, an award-winning humanitarian and HIV/AIDS activist, will be sharing her journey as someone living with HIV and how others can overcome the stigma often associated with it. Ms. Broadbent has appeared on many national television programs including Oprah, 20/20, Good Morning America, and “A Conversation with Magic Johnson” on Nickelodeon. The event will kick-off with an opening reception, lite bites, mocktails, and meet-n-greet.
