Chairman Carlos Gimenez Held Homeland Security Subcommittee Hearing on Threats in the Indo-Pacific

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Chairman Carlos A. Giménez held a Homeland Security Subcommittee on Transportation and Maritime Security hearing entitled Projecting Presence & Power in Indo-Pacific Examination of USCG Contributions to Maritime Security to examine security threats in the Indo-Pacific and the U.S. Coast Guard’s (USCG) importance in the region. 

The Transportation and Maritime Security Subcommittee maintains oversight of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Coast Guard to enhance security of U.S. transportation systems, passengers, cargo, airports, and ports and ensure the safety of our maritime borders.
