Commission for Women to celebrate 50th annivesary

The celebration will honor 50 years of service honoring the achievements of the Commission for Women board on Sept. 14. The event will take place at the Thalatta Estates, 17301 Old Cutler Rd., in Palmetto Bay, FL. The event, “50 years of Miami-Dade County Commission for Women: An evening of community with the Commission for Women.”

The Miami-Dade County Commission was created in 1971. The commission advocates for the status of women and works to improve their quality of life.

This milestone event of commemoration and empowerment will bring together influential community leaders, advocates, thought leaders and supporters from various sectors, providing a unique networking opportunity and an exciting evening.

Tickets can be purchased online and partnership opportunities are also available.

Proceeds from the event will support the work of the board.
