WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Carlos A. Giménez, ahead of the anniversary of the July 11 protests, is launching a poster campaign demanding the liberation of all Cuba’s political prisoners. This July 11, 2023, marks the two-year anniversary of the July 11, 2021, Cuban Protests. The J11 movement was a series of protests throughout the island of Cuba, captivating the world’s attention, against the brutal, murderous Castro Regime and the Communist Party of Cuba. The regime responded with extreme brutality, arresting thousands of innocent Cubans and sentencing them in show trial sin the regime’s politicized kangaroo courts. The Cuban people fought in 2021, and still fight, for freedom and liberty.
