WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Carlos A. Giménez (FL-28) will vote for Rep. Mike Johnson (LA-04) to be Speaker of the House of Representative. As the only career firefighter paramedic in Congress, Rep. Gimenez is proud to vote and serve with Rep. Mike Johnson, who is the son of firefighters.“It’s been 22 days since the Gang of 8 joined with all the Democrats in the House to remove our duly elected Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Their irresponsible and shortsighted actions plunged our Congress and our country into chaos,” said Rep.
