Help aspiring Americans on their journey to become U.S. Citizens

Office of New Americans and its partners are offering virtual clinics for Citizenship, initial DACA applicants and virtual clinics for Venezuelans seeking Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

Complete the volunteer form and we will follow up with additional information and training to be watched in advance of the events.

Upcoming volunteer opportunities:

DACA Clinics
Provide assistance to first-time DACA applicants. Assist clients in pre-event preparation by gathering evidence prior to a clinic. Attorneys or non-attorneys can provide assistance in form preparation. Immigration Attorneys will provide final review of applications and advice to clients. Clinics are held every other Friday.

TPS Clinics
Assist clients in completing their TPS application. Legal volunteers will be completing 1-2 applications with applicants during their 3-hour shift. Clinics will be held April 8-10.

Citizenship Clinic
Help immigrants overcome any barriers Miami residents may have to obtaining American citizenship by offering free legal assistance, study materials, access to classes and any other resources that can help them on their journey to citizenship. Clinics will be held April 30, May 1 and Sept. 17-18. More information coming soon.
