Submissions are now being accepted for the All Kids Included (AKI) district-wide student visual art competition open to all Miami-Dade students in grades K-12. Celebrating inclusion, empathy and understanding, the contest is held each year in conjunction with the AKI Family Arts Festival, an interdisciplinary community arts festival for children and families with or without disabilities to be held at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center on May 7, 2016.

Student artists are invited to submit original art work depicting the festival theme and are asked to draw on the festival’s selected book, “A Boy and a Jaguar,” by Alan Rabinowitz, for inspiration.
