WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Carlos A. Giménez chaired a hearing of the Homeland Subcommittee on Transportation and Maritime Security entitled Strategic Competition in the Arctic to examine current and future security threats in the region and the best ways for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to respond and address these threats.
