HOMESTEAD, FL – Congressman Carlos A. Giménez (FL-28) met with Mayor Steve Losner, Chief Alexander Rolle, and Councilmen Clemente Canabal and Larry Roth to address local community needs and collaborate on upcoming federal funding projects for the region.
Homestead is one of the fastest growing communities in Miami-Dade County and the beating heart of South Florida’s agricultural industry — a major contributor to our state’s thriving economy. As the Representative for this vitally important area, Rep. Giménez is proud to fight for additional funding to address the community’s needs, enhance public safety, and invest in critical infrastructure.
The Mayor and the City Councilmen thanked Congressman Giménez for his leadership in the House of Representatives & success in prioritizing funding for the City of Homestead.
