WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Carlos A. Giménez (FL-28) is proud to have voted for H.R. 6126, the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act to provide additional aid to Israel as it defends itself from Hamas terrorists. The supplemental aid passed in the House in a bipartisan manner. Rep. Gimenez issued the following statement:
“Proud to have voted for our bipartisan bill to fully fund military assistance to our dear friend and ally: the Democratic, Jewish State of Israel,” said Rep. Gimenez. “I will always support Israel. Am Yisrael Chai!”
Rep. Carlos Giménez represents Miami-Dade County and the beautiful Florida Keys. He is the only career firefighter paramedic and Cuban-born Member of the 118th Congress, having fled his homeland shortly after the Communist takeover of the island. He serves on the House Armed Services Committee, the Homeland Security Committee, and the Select Committee on China.
