Spend quality time enjoying a community activity

Get outside, meet your neighbors and connect to parks at Oak Grove Park’s kick-off of Miami-Dade Parks’ Meet Me at the Park series Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. The program promotes walking or riding bike to the park for an organized activity with park staff.

Oak Grove Park’s Meet Me at the Park series presents ”R.E.D. for Women’s Health.” Participants will run, walk and move, learn healthy eating habits and receive smoking cessation initiatives and patches. The program is open to everyone.

There are monthly and weekly activities happening in 17 participating County parks.

Activities include:

  • games and tournaments
  • tennis fundamentals
  • family community game night
  • bike safe excursion
  • water basketball tournament
  • family line dancing
  • fitness line dancing
  • music jam
  • basketball skill and drills
  • active adults social club
  • fitness and boot camp
  • family night basketball
  • family game night
  • kids fun fit camp
  • walk for health
