Miami-Dade Parks will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day by hosting the 3rd Annual Girls Got Game 2024 event at Tropical Park Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The goal of the Girls Got Game event is to introduce girls, ages 6-17, to various sports, learn about the benefits of playing a sport, and encourage young girls to engage in and continue to play sports well into their adult lives. All participants will be exposed to various sports, such as softball, basketball, flag football, soccer, track, volleyball, and boxing.
This event is free and open to the public. All participants must pre-register to participate.
