WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Carlos A. Giménez (FL-28) was proud to join dozens of fellow Members of Congress and hundreds of thousands of voices to march in support of the Democratic, Jewish State of Israel and against Hamas’ savage brutality and the rise of anti-Semitism in the United States. As the Representative for Miami-Dade County, which is home to one of the largest Jewish-American communities in the United States, Rep. Gimenez is a long-time, staunch supporter of the State of Israel and will continue to support them in any way possible.
“On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel’s sovereign borders and committed barbaric atrocities and acts of terrorism against Israeli civilians,” said Rep. Gimenez. “Tragically, since then, we have seen a rise in anti-Semitic attacks here in America. Today, we come together as one voice to condemn these atrocities and march in support of Israel. Anti-Semitism has no place in the United States and must be condemned. I am proud to stand with the State of Israel and Jewish people across the United States. Am Yisrael Chai!”
Congressman Carlos Giménez represents Miami-Dade County and the beautiful Florida Keys. He is the only Cuban-born Member of the 118th Congress, having fled his homeland shortly after the Communist takeover of the island. He serves on the House Armed Services Committee, the Homeland Security Committee, and the Select Committee on China.
